One trade, one corridor.
We repair sliding doors and window hardware in Northeast Florida. That's the whole business, and it's deliberate.
Why specialists
Most sliding door repairs in this state are done by general handymen who see a few a year. They can usually get a door moving again. What they can't do reliably is tell you why it stopped moving — and that's the part that determines whether you're calling someone again next season.
Doing one trade every working day means we've seen how these doors fail here specifically: which roller profiles seize first within a mile of the water, which tracks are worth straightening and which are past it, and which lock problems aren't lock problems at all.
How we price
Flat rate, quoted on site before any work starts. You approve the number before we touch the door, and the invoice matches the quote.
We quote by exposure rather than a single statewide price, because a beachfront door genuinely needs different parts than one twenty miles inland. Pricing them the same means overcharging somebody or under-specifying somebody, and both come back around.
Repair before replacement
The rule we work to: if a repair costs less than about 40% of replacement, repair it. Most doors we're called to need rollers and a track — not a new door.
When replacement genuinely is the better call, we'll say so, even though it isn't the job we're there to sell. A door with a cracked frame or failed structural glazing is not a repair, and pretending otherwise just delays the real cost.
What we don't do
We don't install new door systems, we don't do structural work, and we don't cut glass. Being clear about the edges of the trade is more useful to you than a service list that promises everything.
