Slide Right Repairs LLC operates sliderightrepairs.com. This policy explains what we collect when you book a visit, write to us, pay an invoice or simply use this site, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you book a visit or write to us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address and whatever you tell us about the repair — and, if you answer it, how you found us. We ask for this because we cannot schedule, confirm or quote a job without it.
Booking. Appointments are booked through a Google Calendar booking page. Google processes the details you enter on that page under Google's privacy policy; we see them in our calendar so we can call you to confirm.
Payments. Card payments — at the door or online — are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details and billing information directly; we never see or store your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the site that referred you. This is used in aggregate to keep the site running and understand which pages are useful.
Photographs. If you send photos of your door, or if we photograph the work at your property, those images are kept as part of the job record. We do not publish photographs taken at a customer's property without asking first, and we do not film inside customers' homes.
Advertising measurement
This site uses two tools that tell us whether our advertising works. Both may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Records that a page was viewed and that the "Book a visit" button was clicked, and lets Meta match that to an ad you may have seen. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Google Ads (Google tag). Records a click on "Book a visit" as a conversion so Google can measure our ads. Google may also read a click identifier that arrives with the link you followed. See how Google uses data in advertising.
Neither tool receives your name, address or phone number from this site. You can block these tools with your browser settings or an ad blocker; the site — and the booking page — still work. You can also opt out of personalised ads at Meta ad settings and Google ad settings.
How we use it
- To call you back, confirm the appointment and give you a price
- To schedule, perform and document the repair
- To invoice you and keep the records required for tax and accounting
- To follow up after a job, including asking for a review
- To measure which advertising brought you here, in aggregate
- To improve the site and our service
Calls and text messages
We call the number you give us to confirm each appointment. We may also text you about it — confirmation, arrival time, rescheduling. These are service messages about a job you requested. We do not send marketing texts without separate, explicit consent. Reply STOP to end messages; message and data rates may apply.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not share your details with third parties except the service providers named in this policy, and only as needed to run the business.
Who we share it with
Google (Workspace email and Calendar booking), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), Meta and Google Ads (advertising measurement, as described above), and the tools we use for record-keeping. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Job records and invoices are retained as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Booking requests that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period and then removed.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. Email info@sliderightrepairs.com and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
