Terms of service

Last updated September 2026.

These terms apply to your use of sliderightrepairs.com and to repair services provided by Slide Right Repairs LLC. Using the site or hiring us means you accept them.

About the site

Content on this site is provided for general information. Repair timings and service life figures are typical values based on our experience in this region — they are not a quote, and they are not a promise about your specific door.

The only binding price is the one we confirm with you on site before starting.

Pricing

We tell you the price of the likely repair when we call to confirm your visit, assess the door on site, and confirm the price before starting. You approve it before any work begins, and the invoice matches the approved price unless you authorise additional work.

If we find a problem beyond what was quoted, we stop and tell you rather than continuing and adding it to the bill.

Scheduling and access

Appointments are booked online and confirmed by phone. They are scheduled in windows, not exact times, because job duration varies. We will contact you if we are running outside your window.

Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property, and we need safe access to the door. If we cannot access the work area on arrival, we may need to reschedule.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing — card at the door, or online afterwards through the link on your invoice. Repairs to your home are not subject to Florida sales tax, so none is added. For commercial and multi-unit accounts, invoicing terms are set in the quote.

If the repair doesn't hold

If a part we fitted or work we did stops working the way it should, write to us with your invoice number and what happened; what we do about it is set out on your invoice. This does not cover damage from misuse, forced entry, impact, storm events, or work performed by others after our visit.

Manufacturer warranties on parts are passed through to you where they exist and are separate from anything on our invoice. Our refund & cancellation policy covers payments.

Limits on liability

We work carefully. That said, to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability for any claim arising from our work is limited to the amount you paid for that job.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example loss of use, loss of rental income, or costs arising from delay.

Pre-existing conditions are not our responsibility. Doors and frames that are corroded, cracked or previously damaged may fail during normal service work; we will point out anything we see before starting.

Scope of work

We repair sliding doors, pocket doors, screens and window hardware. We do not perform structural work, install new door systems, or cut glass. Where a job falls outside our scope we will say so rather than attempt it.

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. We will do the same.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here at the time you hire us is the one that applies.
